Salon Privé London opened to guests and VIPs on a crisp spring morning with a glittering array of supercars, classics cars and the finest in luxury lifestyle to be showcased over the coming days. The third year of the season-opening spectacular saw crowds gather to see the reveal of multiple models presented in the UK capital for the first time, in the exclusive surroundings of Royal Hospital Chelsea on the banks of the River Thames.

Guests and media gathered early on Thursday morning for a formal welcome by show Director David Bagley. “We’re here for our third year and it’s incredible to see how Salon Privé London continues to evolve as a genuine season-opening event. We are celebrating the world’s finest marques on each day of the event, welcoming 50 Porsche 911 Turbos, 30 McLarens and a world record 15 Aston Martin Valkyrie – all crowned by a sensational array of 50 supercars on Saturday.

“With our unique Concours de Vente, where every exhibit from our dealer partners is for sale, along with the finest luxury brands, celebrity guests and the very finest dining in the Salon Privé tradition, our guests this year are really in for a treat.”

Koenigsegg wowed the Salon Privé London crowds with a remarkable three-car line-up.  Presented by SuperVettura, the official UK retail partner of the exclusive Swedish brand, the  collection included the first Koenigsegg Jesko in the UK, plus the unique Koenigsegg Regera and a one-off Koenigsegg Agera N. Salon Privé London is the first time the Jesko line-up has been showcased in the UK, revealed SuperVettura – “and as each new Koenigsegg is so very different from the last, many owners are now building up enviable collections of models”.

Aston Martin is at Salon Privé London for the third consecutive year, with a fantastic line-up of cars. Guests have one of the first opportunities in the world to inspect the new Aston Martin Vantage, which has new looks, all-new interior and a spectacular increase in power to an incredible 656bhp. It is the second Aston Martin in the next-generation line-up and sits under the message ‘Engineered For Real Drivers’. Aston Martin is also showcasing the mighty DBX707, and the new DB12 Super Tourer.

The sun shone for Maserati, which was exhibiting the new MC20 Cielo, its new open-top supercar that pushes the boundaries of open-air motoring with breathtaking design. The breadth of the latest Maserati range was also demonstrated by the new Grecale Trofeo high-performance SUV. A special 75th anniversary Maserati GranTurismo was exhibited too, with unique textured paint to showcase the exclusive Maserati Fuoriserie bespoke service.

Rolls-Royce is presenting the new electric Spectre at Salon Privé London 2024. A cutting-edge luxury coupe, it combines more than 500hp with a range of almost 330 miles, and redefines the famed Rolls-Royce silent-running refinement. The Salon Privé London model wears 23-inch wheels, the largest ever fitted to a Rolls-Royce, and is finished in Dark Emerald with an Iceland Moss interior. For those who prefer petrol power, a 6.75-litre V12 Rolls-Royce Ghost is also on display.

Another highlight of the Salon Privé London opening presentation was the reveal of an incredible collection of five Bentleys from Vintage Bentley, collectively worth a staggering £17 million.

The press day also saw an early public preview of the all-new Polestar 4 electric SUV, ahead of cars arriving in the UK later this year, the MG Cyberster electric roadster which helps mark 100 years of MG Motor with thrilling 0-62mph performance in as little as 3.2 seconds, and the world reveal of the all-new BRABUS Range Rover – a model so new, it was finished just the day before Salon Privé London 2024.

Coming up on Friday is a headline world record parade in partnership with the AMV Owners Club, that will see 15 Aston Martin Valkyrie, the hypercar designed in partnership with Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey, gather in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea. They will be joined by two Aston Martin One-77, an Aston Martin Vulcan and Aston Martin V12 Speedster. A press call is planned for 11am and media can still sign up for accreditation to witness the never-before-seen spectacle. Friday will also see the world’s most magnificent McLarens celebrated with an incredible line-up of more than 30 cars including the McLaren Elva, McLaren 675LT and new McLaren Artura Spider.
