Aguttes are pleased to announce the results of the first sale of the Aguttes on Wheels department in Belgium.
With a result of over €4 million and a sale rate of 86%, this first edition of the Autoworld | Auction & Motion sale, organized in parallel with the Zoute Grand Prix, attracted collectors from all over the world.
In a packed room and after more than 4 hours of sale, the Aguttes house was able to count on buyers from 14 different countries to take up the challenge of a first sale abroad.
Thanks to a high-quality catalogue offering great diversity, the Autoworld museum came alive with 103 auctions in the room and numerous telephone orders.
In the end, the highest bid went to the Bugatti Type 30, entered in the 1922 ACF Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500 in 1923.
It changed hands at €858,000, confirming its status as an undisputed star. Alongside it, the 12 youngtimers presented also changed hands, when ten of them exploded their high estimates!
Finally, La Nacional Pescara, considered one of the jewels of Spanish motorsport, is close to the €600,000 mark.
A unique and authentic Grand Prix car, it is a monument in the history of Spanish motorsport thanks to its 3-litre, 8-cylinder, dual-cylinder ACT engine with compressor.
Aguttes on Wheels continues its momentum and has seen constant progress since its creation in 2016.
