With over 78% of lots sold for a total amount exceeding €2.9 million, our traditional Summer Sale was a great success... The sale began with a long series of bidding battles between the Drouot and Interenchères platforms, numerous registered phone bidders, and a full room! The top three lots drew significant interest and changed hands.
While the Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0 Gr. 5 leaves France, the sublime Talbot Lago T14 2500 joins the beautiful collection of a French enthusiast, and the very exclusive Lamborghini Countach 5000 S becomes the first collectible car for a young enthusiast! For a first auction experience, we commend his bravery in starting a collection with such an automotive monument!
Alongside these, Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS, Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow “One-Off” by Michelotti, Alpine A110 1600 S, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti One to One and 360 Modena Spider F1, Jaguar E-Type V12, XK150 3.8 S, Porsche 911 3.2 Cabriolet, and many others achieved excellent results.
For this edition, a third of the catalog featured collections without reserve prices. British roadsters, restoration projects, or youngtimers, all exceeded their estimates, sometimes by a wide margin.
