In a historic and fascinating setting, Romeo Ferraris took part in the 16th edition of the Bergamo Historic Grand Prix. 

It was the historic re-enactment of the only Bergamo Grand Prix, back in 1935, when Tazio Nuvolari won with Alfa Romeo: the 2023 edition took place on Sunday, around the streets of the Città Alta - inside the iconic walls inside the city in Lombardy which has recently been made a Unesco World Heritage Site. 

Organised by Simone Tacconi the event brought together many classic cars and motorcycles produced between 1910 and 1975 by the most famous manufacturers around the world; the entry list was divided in various rounds based on the type of vehicle used, with the categories including single seaters, GTS and pre-war cars and motorcycles.

Romeo Ferraris had three cars at the starting line: the Morgan Plus Four, the Morgan Plus Six and the most recent Morgan Super 3. The three cars served as Pace Cars for the rounds reserved to pre-war cars and single seaters - a category that saw cars such as the Maserati 26M of 1928 and the Alfa Romeo 6C Sport of 1939 competing. The event at the Circuito delle Mura was more than successful, with lots of enthusiasts who came around the streets of Bergamo to watch all the historical cars on track.
