Went along to Salon Prive - the first time I believe it has been held at Syon House.

Usually the idea of going to a concours event would hold no passionate interest - but we all had a fabulous day. Listening to Allan Rennie's Lotus 35 Martin V8 on open pipes - the amazing Don Lee special straight eight Alfa Romeo - blood curdling wail of the Ferrari 250 LM and the V4 supercharged AJS were just a few highlights in the amazing grounds of Syon Park.

Brilliant setting, fantastic cars and bikes - no vast crowds - unlimited champagne - opportunity to chat to legends like John McGuiness who was there to demo the Senior TT winning Fireblade...it was a really enjoyable day.
