Rather nice Aston DB4GT for sale

Rather nice Aston DB4GT for sale

Wow - I want this car so much - just short of the odd £425k. Paul Baber has got it for sale at the moment - I enclose the spiel below - what a nice thing to smoke around in this autumn - just hope the new owner does not "Pebble Beach(dash)" it and ruin it's patina.

"Over the years we have found some highly original cars but this DB4GT has to be the ultimate find. Not our usual Ferrari offering but a racing contemporary of the 250 SWB in the early 1960's. Painted in British Racing Green and trimmed with Beige leather and Green carpets. The DB 4 GT was built in alloy with rear perspex screens and came standard with a 30 gallon fuel tank that can be accessed from either wing. As equally competitive on the track as it was nimble as a fast road car it has to be the perfect 'Gentleman's GT'. Powered by the 6 cylinder twin overhead cam, twin plug engine producing 302 BHP and fed through 3 twin choke 45 DCOE4 sand cast carburettors it is capable of speeds in excess of 150 MPH and a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds.

Chassis # 145 is truly original in all respects. It is offered with its original handbook, 4GT supplement, original buff log book, both sets of original keys and much correspondance with the factory in the 1960's. A period Radio has been fitted since new. Its provenance can be traced since date of first registration. We offer this car with a fresh MOT and a full service prior to delivery. No cosmetic alteration will be considered. Is it too much to think that at least one 4 GT will remain as it was built for the generations to come ?£425,000.00
