Auto Italia Magazine

Auto Italia Magazine

Just done a site for Auto Italia Magazine. We built the original Auto Italia Magazine site about 15 years ago! - think black and white tv era!

Anyway Phil sold the magazine years ago and recently was obviously finding life too easy - so he bought it back.

If you love Italian cars and stunning photography - usually taken by his son Michael - you'll find it a great read. This stunning shot of the factory twin headlight Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 stradale - the basis for the Racecar logo - is typical of the imagery in the magazine.

It's available at most newsagents - and you can subscribe online from the site link below.

Also this coming weekend the celebrated Auto Italia event at Brooklands is taking place - which is basically an Italian car porn fest - include some event PR below we nabbed off the Abarth UK site:

Auto Italia is one of the biggest events each year at Brooklands, in Surrey, celebrating the UK’s obsession with all things Italian. This will be Auto Italia’s 26th Spring gathering at this historic motor racing and aviation location. There will be all types of Italian cars including Abarth, Maserati and Ferrari along with motorcycles plus action on the Mercedes-Benz World circuit and Test Hill. To give you an idea of how popular this event really is – in previous years there have been over 200 Ferraris alone! This is an event for all car enthusiasts who share the passion for Italian style and performance cars – There will be some very special cars on display in the Paddock. See you there! The programme for the day is as follows:

08.30 Gates open 11.00 Drivers’ briefing for the Mercedes-Benz World track demonstration 12.00 – 13.00 Mercedes-Benz World track demonstration (followed by the Silver Arrows) 13.00 Lunch break 14.00 Drivers’ briefing for Test Hill 14.45 – 15.30 Test Hill demonstrations 17.00 Event closed

Might even put some road legal tyres on the Ducati and pop over and have a drool over some machinery - quite a few Racecar customers will be exhibiting.
